Hey everyone,
This is a new section of my website that I hope grows into something special over time. I've been doing photography for many years now. Fell in and out of love with it many times over. Here I am again in love, and this time I think it feels like marriage. I have always known that I loved to create. Since I was a kid, it was always sketches, random fun websites, graphics design or T-shirts for none other than myself. I always created to some capacity and now that I'm older, life gets in the way sometimes.
I always found it strange how we fall in love with some processes like eating right or going to the gym. We got for a while and all of a sudden feel amazing, more energy, healthier, happier even. What usually happens though? We stop. We stop and we focus on things we NEED to survive and support ourselves and our families. We forget our passions and how happy and at peace we are when indulging in what we really enjoy to do. For some its singing, others it's hiking (i love hiking too), but for me, art will always hold a special place in my heart. A job is a great thing to have, but don't forget to feed your soul.
There's a huge reason why I decided to finally start this blog and I will tell that story in a future post. Nothing too crazy but it was impactful enough to light a fire under my ass.
I'm working on creating some kind of schedule as to how frequent I update this blog and my regular website with my photos. I'm going to actively go out and shoot for fun again while still doing events! Time to grow, change and thrive!
